Every single large corporation is 100% on the side of the police. Don't let their fake solidarity tweets fool you for a second. They don't care how many black people get killed, they know the police exist to protect their hoarded wealth.

My sister sent me a TikTok of a white girl crying about her parents saying George Floyd deserved to die, tearfully disowning them. There’s a whole genre of white gen z kids processing in real-time what’s new information to them (but not us), that their parents are sociopaths.

Real talk. The only other time in my life that I’ve been under curfew, seen peaceful protesters brutalized, and journalists teargassed has been as a Palestinian at the mercy of Israel’s army.

Remember, the demand is to defund the police (the goal is their abolition). It is not to replace the old police with new police, or to charge an individual cop. To start, mayor's need to cut a huge gash in their police budgets & promise to redistribute those funds to communities.
