We're looking for an Enablement lead to advance our global Revenue organization. The Platform and AI Enablement position will focus on the future of GitHub as a platform story with AI at the center. This is critical to equipping and educating our GitHub revenue teams with the content, knowledge, and training needed to effectively sell the future vision of our product in a dynamic landscape.
This role is responsible for architecting an enablement strategy and readiness pathways, building strategic relationships across the company, and driving actionable next steps across multiple audiences and stakeholders within Revenue.
You’ll work within a GTM Enablement team, united under the charter to equip Revenue teams to convey the true value of GitHub’s future and current product offerings.
Responsibilities
- Creating a 2023 Revenue-wide enablement strategy supporting 1200 Revenue team members through content, training, product updates and communications, sales plays, and product insights
- Partner with Microsoft on our go-to-market mechanism, including defining and training sellers on our fundamental process and product information to successfully co-sell GitHub Enterprise
- Partner with Product, Product marketing, and the Product Management Office to translate product knowledge into messages, content, and training to support the sales team, support team, and all other customer-facing teams when communicating outwardly
- Serve as a liaison to the field about ongoing product updates, effective sales approaches and tactics, and key product changes
- Provide voice of field feedback to product teams
- Work with Customer Success to build team competency and identify ways to help customers adopt GitHub’s Enterprise Product and utilize it to the fullest capabilities
- Integrate Copilot and AI content within our platform messaging, helping to identify areas of multi-SKU sales approaches in partnership with PMM and Product
Qualifications:
- 8+ years experience with enablement, training, or similar roles relating to software development
- Experience facilitating and hosting live sessions
- Demonstrated ability to enable and lead cross-functional working groups that span both technical and non-technical backgrounds
Preferred Qualifications:
- The ability to condense key information from several sources + voices
- Strong business acumen with exemplary communication and organizational skills
- Excellent critical thinking skills that allow you to assess opportunities for process improvement
- Tenacity to overcome unexpected challenges and roadblocks in pursuit of team goals
- Familiarity with GitHub: our product and our community
Minimum salary of $89,200 to maximum $236,600.
These pay ranges are intended to cover roles based across the United States. An individual's base pay depends on various factors including geographical location and review of experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant. At GitHub certain roles are eligible for benefits and additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These rewards are allocated based on individual impact in role. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
