Use the “Two-Factor Options” section under “Users” → “Your Profile” to enable and configure one or multiple two-factor authentication providers for your account:
- Email codes
- Time Based One-Time Passwords (TOTP)
- FIDO Universal 2nd Factor (U2F)
- Backup Codes
- Dummy Method (only for testing purposes)

Two-Factor is an excellent security plugin for WordPress WP Admin. I spent time looking at alternatives, including paid, and was impressed enough with Two-Factor to try it. Having used it I am extremely impressed - it was easy to configure, effective in use and has sufficient essential options (such as Backup Verification Codes).

I've used different 2FA plugins before and this one is by far the best one: simple, has multiple options and backup modes, fast. Definitely switching to this plugin in all my sites.
