Problem: There is a gap between NGOs and donators/volunteers. People who are willing to volunteer/donate to a cause are unaware of its existence. We are trying to mitigate it by creating a search engine that searches for NGOs based on the search query and selected specific places.
Proposed solution: It will also provide the user with the following information:
i) The various available NGOs based on the selected area and cause.
ii) Upon selecting a particular NGO, a page will display information about its working areas and functioning.
iii) One can also search for the name/image of a particular organisation and get the necessary information.
iv) It's also possible to enable voice search. For a blind individual, there would be an option/voice command that would read the page's contents aloud.
v) If one is willing to volunteer to the cause, it will lay down the criteria and contact details.
vi) If one is willing to donate, it will link to the donation page where one can read the necessary clauses and make the payment or lend the possible source of help in terms of clothes, food, etc.
vii) Based on the earlier searches of a user, it can recommend a more customised set of results.
viii) Precedence would be given to the most searched results.
ix) NGOs' activities can be tracked, and ratings can be assigned accordingly, thereby assisting the user in making a decision.
x) If any NGO organises an event, it would automatically come in the news section.
