My favorite tool is the one that's right for the job at hand. Still, I've developed a particular affinity for some.
- I'm more proficient with Python for backend services (fastAPI, gRPC). I also actively contribute to a C++ / Qt codebase for one of my clients.
- Regarding storage, I'm used to working with Postgres and love SQLite ease of use for side projects.
- Docker won my heart and I can hardly imagine going back to the dark times before.
- The speed at which React makes it possible to develop a clean and rich UI makes it my go-to front-end framework.
