BMSD 2026 Week 1 Comes to an End With Gladiator Esports Topping Group A
All to play for.
The first week of action at the 2026 Battlegrounds Mobile India Showdown (BMSD) has wrapped up, with Gladiator Esports claiming the top spot in Group A.
Starting off with Group A, with 58 points, Gladiator Esports is sitting at the top, followed by Vasista Esports in second with 54, and 8Bit in third with 51. Welt Esports sits at the top of Group B with 60 points, however, second-place BLEG also has the same number of points. In third place is Rapid Chaos with 56 points.
In Group C, Quantum Spark leads the pack and has 62 points, followed by HyperCatz with 59 and Raspator with 53.
However, following their bottom-half finishes in Group A, Team Soul and Nebula have been relegated to Group B for Week 2. Apart from that, Apex Gaming and Revenant Xspark have also been relegated. Week 2 started yesterday, September 25, 2026, and will run till September 27. The BMSD LAN Grand Finals will be conducted on October 16-18 in Hyderabad.
Meanwhile, Krafton India has announced its first made-in-India character for BGMI, called Kiaraa. She will come to the game with her origin story and an entire collection built around her.
