Subscribe to Apple Creator Studio
When you first open an Apple Creator Studio app, you can subscribe to Apple Creator Studio with your Apple Account. Choose between a monthly or an annual subscription. The Apple Account must be a personal account to subscribe, not a Managed Apple Account.
Open one of the Apple Creator Studio apps, click or tap Continue, then follow any onscreen instructions. For Keynote, Pages, Numbers, or Freeform, you can subscribe from within the app when you interact with premium content or features. You can't subscribe within Keynote or Freeform on Apple Vision Pro.
Follow the onscreen instructions to subscribe with your Apple Account.
To get started, create a new project or document or open an existing project or document in an Apple Creator Studio app.
When you purchase a new Mac or iPad, you can use Apple Creator Studio for three months before billing starts. Make sure to sign up with the Apple Account that you used to set up your new device to get the three month offer. After three months, your subscription renews at the monthly or annual plan you chose. You can cancel at any time.
Manage your subscription
You can modify or cancel your Apple Creator Studio subscription from your Mac, iPad, or iPhone. If you cancel your subscription, you'll retain access to all included apps and features until the end of the billing period of your subscription.
After the end of the billing period, you'll still have access to Keynote, Pages, Numbers, and Freeform but without the intelligence features included in the subscription. You'll also still retain access to the projects and files you created with the apps included in the subscription. That way, you can work on your projects if you decide to resubscribe later or if you want to buy an app that's available as a one-time purchase.
Manage your subscription on Mac
In one of the included apps, choose the app name from the menu bar, then choose Manage Subscriptions from the menu. The App Store opens and shows your subscriptions. If you don’t see your subscriptions, make sure you’re signed in to the Apple Account in the App Store that you used to subscribe to Apple Creator Studio.
In the Subscriptions list, click Apple Creator Studio, then modify or cancel your subscription:
To modify your subscription plan, click a different subscription option, then follow the instructions.
To cancel your subscription, click Cancel Subscription, then follow the instructions.
To change or update your payment method, click your name in the lower-left corner, click Account Settings, click Payment Methods, then follow the instructions.
Manage your subscription on iPad or iPhone
From the Home screen, open the Settings app, then tap your Apple Account.
Tap Subscriptions. If you don’t see your subscriptions, make sure you’re signed in to the Apple Account in the App Store that you used to subscribe to Apple Creator Studio.
In the Subscriptions list, tap Apple Creator Studio, then modify or cancel your subscription:
To modify your subscription plan, tap See All Plans, tap a different subscription option, then follow the onscreen instructions.
To cancel your subscription, tap Cancel Subscription, then follow the onscreen instructions.
To change or update your payment method:
Open the App Store, then tap the My Account button or your picture at the top right.
Tap your name.
Tap Manage Payments, then tap Payment Methods.
Edit or remove the existing payment method or add a new payment method.
Purchase apps individually
Final Cut Pro, Motion, Compressor, Logic Pro, MainStage, and Pixelmator Pro are also available as one-time purchases for Mac on the App Store. If you previously purchased one of these apps and you also have an Apple Creator Studio subscription, you can use either version of the apps—both versions can be installed on your Mac.
To make it easier to distinguish between apps, the apps in Apple Creator Studio have unique icons.
Share Apple Creator Studio with your family
When you enroll in Family Sharing, you and up to five other family members can share access to an Apple Creator Studio subscription. To share an Apple Creator Studio monthly or annual subscription, make sure the subscription appears under Family Sharing > Subscription Sharing and is active.

Family sharing is not available for higher education student and educator subscriptions.
Get an Apple Creator Studio college student or educator subscription
If you’re a verified college student enrolled in or a verified educator employed at a degree-granting college or university, you can subscribe to Apple Creator Studio at a discounted monthly or yearly rate.
For other students and educators, you can purchase the Pro Apps Bundle for Education at a special discounted price. The Pro Apps Bundle for Education includes the one-time purchase versions of Final Cut Pro, Motion, Compressor, Logic Pro, and MainStage. The bundle is available from the Apple Store for Education Institution.
Apple Creator Studio system requirements
Full Apple Creator Studio functionality is available with macOS 27, iPadOS 27, and iOS 27. Apple Creator Studio is available in the App Store and requires an Apple Account. Features are subject to change, and some may require internet access. Additional fees and terms may apply.
Minimum system requirements for each Apple Creator Studio app are as follows:
Final Cut Pro:
Final Cut Pro on Mac requires macOS 26.6 or later.
Final Cut Pro for iPad requires iPadOS 26.6 or later and an iPad Pro or iPad Air with an Apple M1 chip or later, iPad (A16), or iPad mini (A17 Pro).
Logic Pro:
Logic Pro for Mac requires macOS 26.6 or later and a Mac with Apple silicon.
Logic Pro for iPad requires iPadOS 27 or later and an iPad with an Apple A12 Bionic chip or later. Some features require an Apple A17 Pro chip or later.
Pixelmator Pro:
Pixelmator Pro for Mac requires macOS 26 or later.
Pixelmator Pro for iPad requires iPadOS 26 or later and an iPad Pro or iPad Air with an Apple M1 chip or later, iPad (A16), or iPad mini (A17 Pro).
Keynote, Pages, and Numbers:
Keynote, Pages, and Numbers for Mac require macOS 26 or later.
Keynote, Pages, and Numbers for iPad and iPhone require iPadOS 26 or later and iOS 26 or later.
Keynote, Pages, and Numbers for Apple Vision Pro require visionOS 26 or later.
Freeform for Mac, iPad, iPhone, and Apple Vision Pro requires macOS 26.4, iPadOS 26.4, iOS 26.4, and visionOS 26.4 or later.
Motion requires macOS 26.6 or later.
Compressor requires macOS 26.6 or later. Some features require a Mac with Apple silicon.
MainStage requires macOS 26.6 or later and a Mac with Apple silicon.
