How do I get the navigation to stop duplicating at the top and bottom? There used to be a menu option that let me create different menus for top and bottom navigation, but those options don’t exist in my control panel anymore.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @synsanken,

I noticed that you are using the WordPress default Twenty Twenty Five Block theme. Please try to follow steps below to edit the header and footer menus instead of seeing duplicates:

    1. Please go to Appearance > Editor.
    2. Go to Navigation > click on the footer/header section according to these screenshots – https://prnt.sc/__x_skFQZ54T and https://prnt.sc/w2y1RgRWJzLo
    3. Then update/delete/edit/add your desired new menus.

This should help you manage the navigation menus separately.

It didn’t work. When I edited the top menu, the bottom menu changed too.

    Hi @synsanken

To resolve the issue, click the Navigation block. In the right sidebar, click the three dots and select Create New Menu. Create separate menus for the header and footer (for example, Header Menu and Footer Menu). Add your menu items to the appropriate menu; changes to one menu will not affect the other.

Give it a try, and let me know how that goes! 😄

Wow, it’s really incredible how complicated they’ve made this. It’s not intuitive at all. WordPress used to be extremely easy to understand and use. I think I have it working now, but I’m going to need to bookmark this post in case I ever need to modify the menu again.

    Thanks for the help.
