Digging into this more, I just remembered that the warning modal for this is also used on the Query Loop block. Here's the current state of things: modal.warning.movWith this PR, that modal changes to require the checkbox for both the Query loop and Post Content blocks. In my workflow, I do find I delete Query Loops more than I do Post Content blocks (never do the latter) so I wonder if this is okay or if we should have a separate, more serious modal just for the Post Content block. Perhaps I'm over thinking this :) |

Tested this, worked as described and without issue. I also tried deleting the parent group block, and the same pop up appeared, and worked well. One minor opinion on the copy:
Because the block is called "content," using the word "content" here could be a little confusing; it might be more straightforward to say:

@annezazu I personally prefer idea of having separate warnings, since the Content block is really critical and does this one important function, and the QL block does different things. That said, compared to the clearer message this PR sets up for the post content block, I now find the old warning confusing 😄
I asked Claude to try a version specific to the QL block, but using the format you have proposed above – maybe this could work for the QL block, keeping the consequences checkbox as well:

I'm the same. I tend to think that each of these need bespoke modals—we're already in bespoke territory. That query loop can be sans-checkbox, but the more important source of user error can retain it. No strong opinions, and let me know if you need any visuals. But I tend to think the existing modal can continue to exist for query loops, and the new one can be used for just the content block. |

I tested this out and it works exactly as expected! I do have some thoughts: Minor styling issue I noticed:The title says "Remove content block?" -- should "content" be capitalized ("Content block") to match how the block name is typically styled? I also had Claude go through the code and explain it to me and then asked it to "think hard" to find edge cases + suggestions. These two stood out: 1. Multi-block selection edge caseNot sure how often this would happen but if a user selects both a Post Content block and a Query/Post Template block together and deletes them, only the Post Content warning is shown due to the early return: if ( removedPostContentBlocks.length ) {

} The user won't be informed they're also removing a Query block. This might be intentional since Post Content is more 2. I'm not a big fan of having customizable messages for different messages - it just gives us more opportunities to be inconsistent! I'd rather keep the strings as strings and be consistent across all the blocks. |
Update the removal confirmation modal title to "Be careful!", the button label to "Delete", and refine the warning copy. Place the subtext on the same line as the warning. Not a blocker, feel free to ship it as it doesn't require translation changes. But I would like a followup that can happen at any point (the checkbox is the important piece) to change "Be careful" to something else. It's weak and unclear language, where as something like "Remove block" is stronger, more direct insofar as it explains an action you're about to take. |
Simplify the modal by using destructuring with defaults instead of repeated ternary checks. Remove redundant fields from the Post Content structured message that match the defaults. Good point. I've updated to "Confirm deletion" as that is what's actually going on in this flow and "delete" language matches best. Here's where we're at: 
@scruffian can you see this through? <3 This is not blocking and is just food for future thought for a potential iteration/incoming feedback from this change--I just realized one problem with this approach I shared above. Since this warning modal will show up with the Query Loop block and folks can add the Query Loop block to pages (I do this on my site), the warning message may not make sense. In most use cases though, these blocks are primarily used in templates rather than pages. With that in mind, here's an iteration for us to consider next if needed:
Adding in "may" as you can easily have a Query Loop block on a page with other content. Here's my page on my site where I have a Query Loop used in this format with text above: https://nomad.blog/blog/ Removing the Query Loop wouldn't make my page blank but remove the post content block in the template I created for this page would. This strikes an in between balance that might make more sense 🤔 . Perhaps I am overthinking this though and I do feel comfortable moving forward for now as is but it felt important to note this in general as something we should keep an eye out for feedback on as we move into beta 1. |

I think this is unnecessarily complex. Since most of these variables never change the values can be output directly in the component without needing a variable at all.

Attempted to address this feedback in the latest commit!
