Unlocks:

• Surprise Attack
  • Deal more damage to unaware enemies.
• Quiet Movement
  • Reduces the sound of your footsteps, making it more difficult for enemies to hear you.

  • Takedowns create less noise.

Location: In a room at the very back of the Outlaw's Cave. Watch out for a tripwire at the entrance. Unlocks new skills in the Melee Combat section.

Unlocks:

• Heavy Melee Attack Power
  • Increases damage caused by Heavy Melee attacks.
• Seasoned Brawler
  • Substantially reduces the heart rate cost of melee attacks.
• Melee Weapon Attack Power
  • Increases damage caused by melee weapons.

Location: Sold by Corporal "Bootsy" Hughes. Unlocks new skills in the Ranged Combat section.

Unlocks:

• Firearms Focus
  • Increases firearm damage when your heart rate is low.
• Firearms Handling
  • Reduces firearm sway when aiming down sights.
• Firearms Stability
  • Reduces weapon fire recoil.

Location: On a table inside the Bakery Bedroom. Unlocks new skills in the Survival section.

Unlocks:

• Gut Health
  • Food consumables also grant a damage resistance buff.
• Buff Duration
  • Effects from consumables last longer.
• Blue Fingers
  • Harvest young spores from heavily infected sources.

Location: On the lower level of Medical. After getting through the Restricted Elevator and pulling the Lockdown Controls lever, you'll gain access to an operating theatre, where the manual is through a door on the far left side of the room at the bottom. Unlocks new skills in the Conditioning section.

Unlocks:

• Poison Resistance
  • Provides resistance to all sources of Poison.
• Bleed Resistance
  • Provides resistance to all sources of Bleed.
• Burn Resistance
  • Provides resistance to all sources of Burn.

Location: Inside the Conservatory

Unlocks:

• Draw Speed
  • Increases bow draw speed.

Location: Sold by Molly Jowett after purchasing her entire stock (may need to do this twice). Unlocks new skills in the Ranged Combat section.

  • Crouch and remain still for a short duration to see the movements of others around you.
• Decomposition
  • Performing a takedown while Infected will cause an enemy's body to rapidly decompose into fungal spores. Their remains will not be detected by enemies.

Location: In the underground workshop, only accessible with Signal Redirector Mk II

Unlocks:

• Puppeteer Skill
  • Reprogramming mechanical enemies with the Signal Redirector Mk II lasts longer.

Location: Synaptics Lab - In front of green screens in the Data Processing room.

Unlocks:

• Salvage Robotics
  • Weapons from destroyed Robots can be picked up and used.
  • Can loot Electronics from mechanical enemies.
