why does my sim allways have the disgusted moodlet?

first of all my house is completely clean.no one needs a shower,no dirty dishes anywhere,no garbage anywhere,the fridge doesnt have bad food in it,and the garbage doesnt need to be taken out.so why does my male sim always have the disgusted moodlet?its always stuck on ten mins. and never goes away.it seems like he always gets disgusted in the bathroom but every things clean and nothings broken.so why is this happening?it doesnt realy bother me im just curious why its allways there.

If it only happens in the bathroom and the bathroom has a doorway to it(and isnt totally open) You have something broken or something dirty. Dirty/broken showers, clogged/dirty toilet, puddles on the floor??? Do you have blank counters or garbage cans in there??

As for the rest of the house check every counter surface and appliance and for dishes/newspapers laying around. The trashcompactor needs to be emptied now and then.

Outside...you usually only have to worry about newspapers. Occasionally (mostly after quakes or something) I get lots of piles of trash in my backyard that came out of nowhere.

It sounds like you understand how it works but your just missing something.

no one else in my household gets that moodlet its only him.like i said before he gets it for no reason what so ever.i have a maid so my house stays clean.he used to only get it in the bathroom but recently he started getting it everywhere like out of the blue he would get disgusted.if a sims doesnt like the surroundings(even if its clean surroundings)can they get disgusted?because that what im starting to think.

#1 if you hit x/square(ps3) on the moodlet screen you can bring up description of the moddlets affecting your sim. This will also tell you WHAT is giving you the moodlet.

#2. One of my peeps got what you were describing. It said that it was caused by a pile of trash and she was on my roof at the time so I looked all over, I looked all over my house. The timer was not counting down, when she went to work and away from my lot it would not change. I had 2 other people in the house and they didnt have this.

#3. With challenge points you can unlock an electronic device to remove bad moodlets from someone or inflict them on others. I bought that for some reason and I havent really used it but it got rid of the moodlet and it hasnt come back.

I think its a gltich or something. They see a pile of trash that isnt there or they remove one but the moodlet never goes away or maybe its because of a neighbor and changing distance doesnt fix the problem. Hope you have enough challenge points saved up lol.

theres never any food in my inventory.it seems like he randomly gets it for no reason and it stays at 10m and doesnt go away.i dont think its ever gone away.all i got to say is this is a very annoying glitch lol

I have a Sim like that, but I just assumed it was because she had the Neat trait and was simply more picky about things.

well i started a new game and the moodlet seems to go away once im away from/clean up whatever gave it to him in the first place.

Hi, i was searching the boards for help when i came across your post!

im having the same problem on my ds sims 3, is yours on the ds?

im pretty stumped, but i noticed theres the green smell thing that turns up when
food/plates on sides goes mouldy, randomly turned up on the floor inbetween my kitchen/
front room, and i cant do anything about it, as far as i know, but whenever i try to move the wall thats ontop of it, i cant! nor can i move the thing on the piece of wall thats affected! i assumed i could hire a cleaner from somewhere, but i guess not! if you get an answer to your's, can you let me know! and likewise, if i work it out, ill let you know! but its soo goddamn annoying, because i cant go anywhere near it without getting the disgusted moodlet up! hopefully we can get a answer!

My Sim has the disgusted moodlet glitch too. I have a family of four and I pretty much just started out so we're pretty poor [face_tongue]. We couldn't afford a stove or counters at the time and we just had a basic fridge. For the first day or two my Sims ate quick meals to fill their hunger. I had the Sim in question drink juice and that's when I saw the moodlet. I don't know if it was the fridge, something else or what. I saw the juice in his inventory and threw it out but the moodlet is there like several Sim days later. It always says 10 minutes like crashhat69 said but never goes down. I have Sims 3, World Adventures, Ambitions, and Late Night installed and I have no CC or mods. What's going on? Man this game is so glitchy!

mines been having it too ever since i started playing this game last week and its been getting on my nerves!!! but have just managed to shift if.... if you go to the fridge and open it, it gives you a list of all the foods in there. If you hover the mouse over each food it should give you a quality a few of mine had awful on instead of quality. you just have to click on clear up,the 10min timer starts to go down and then empty the trash again...mow its gone!

~o) Morning. I'm sure that people stopping by to see if their problem is asked and answered on the board will find that very helpful!:D

Oh yes, don't know if you will find it helpful, in the beginning, before you have good cooking skills and to save time, let your sim just eat an apple or tomato for hunger.
If you see that all the sims in your household have some fresh produce for a quick 'fix' in their inventory, you avoid burning food etc, and cut down on 'wasted time' quite a lot.

~o) Thought of something else. Before I understood Moodlets, could never figure out why sims had the bucket thing in the Bridgeport Penthouse. Discovered that the half wall upstairs was not painted! Now I know what it is! Unfinished room.

My sim was fine for like two sim weeks including my two dogs till he started having a problem with one of them and it was TIm. Every time he entered the same room with my sim he would get that disgusted moodlet. I washed both both dogs and even washed TIm 3 times and he still stinks to him.

if you have fish in the fish tank that are marked as "foul" that will cause a trash mood i just figured that out. hope that helps [face_thinking]

Try using the bless the mess karma power too it worked for me all i had to do was use it then clean out my fridge and it was gone
