Next, I would like to create a tutorial (or perhaps a series of tutorials, depending on how long it turns out to be) on how to implement all these technologies in a real-world project.
In this project, the reader will learn to build a plugin that registers a custom "Create Blog Post" Ability that uses the AI Client to generate a featured image and content, based on a given prompt and optional writing style. The functionality will be available in the WordPress dashboard for all Author (and above) users using the DataForm component, as well as an MCP Tool, so it can be executed from any MCP-capable desktop application.
The plugin will be based on the same ideas as this demo plugin I've built for presenting workshops, which I will also add to the wptrainingteam organization for the article.
