Font Size Control Has No Effect When “Fit text” Is Enabled #72219

Description

Description

When the “Fit text” toggle is enabled for the Stretchy Paragraph or Stretchy Heading block, adjusting the Font Size (S, M, L, XL, XXL) under the Typography settings has no visible effect on the text.

This behavior is understandable since Fit text dynamically scales text to fit its container. However, keeping the font size options active may create confusion, as users might assume the control is not working.

Step-by-step reproduction instructions

  1. Add a Stretchy Paragraph or Stretchy Heading block.
  2. Open the Block settings → Typography panel.
  3. Enable the Fit text toggle.
  4. Attempt to change the Font Size value (e.g., from S to XXL).
  5. Observe that the text size remains unchanged.
