You wake up in a bunker after a nuclear strike.

The access tunnel is sealed. The surface is unreachable. The Chief is dead.

Moved by optimism and poor decision-making, you decide to drill your way out.

The drill was never fully calibrated. It burns oil too fast. Consumes propane unpredictably. Destroys bits under load.

Sustained vibration attracts something. You have about five minutes.

Good luck.

Really solid and creepy, reminding me a lot of Iron Lung with more room to explore. Maybe some lore building pieces that entice the player to leave the drill room could amp the tension up.

This was an awesome game my dude! Really enjoyed the story it was cool getting it through the notes. The gameplay was great, very immersive, it was fun getting the drill machine working and moving everything I needed to keep it running. Nice graphics too, very solid all around! I got the escape ending so I am curious what the hell was coming after me, what was the creature! I enjoyed this game and recommend completely! Here is my gameplay video, sub and help my channel grow everybody! :)

Thank you very much!

Hi! I recently published a deep design analysis and review of Overburden on my indie game magazine, IndieGameInsight.

I really appreciated the experimental bunker atmosphere and the mechanical gameplay loop built around the drill system.

If you're interested, you can read the full article here: https://indiegameinsight.com/overburden-review/

Thanks for making such an interesting experimental project!

Thank you!

Hi notsospecialgames! I'm a beginner translator interested in voluntarily localizing your game into Brazilian Portuguese (PT-BR). If you're interested, I would love to help :)

You can also lose the oil cans behind the table with the radio, not sure about the fuel cans though as I didn't try.

Thanks! I have updated the dropping system in 1.0.2, it should be more difficult to lose something now.

It was quite enjoyable, could have used a bit more tensity i think but not bad overall.

What a greeeat job you've done here! Really good atmosphere and very complete, I got the A ending. The game feels really polished and the concept is great. I had the brilliant idea to cram almost every interactive object into the room with the control panel, so I didn't have to go out and see who was wandering around hahahah. Excellent work!!!

This sounds like a valid strategy, haha. Thank you for playing!

Looks awesome just like the last game I played from you - I'll be sure to record it as soon as possible!

Keep up the awesome work

Thank you for the support!
