Flower scarf

Welcome to all my new friends and thanks everyone for being here and leaving your sweet comments for me to cherish. I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

I finished writing a couple of new patterns for the shops and one is this lovely scarf made of ruffled flowers. I chose lime green and light brown for the scarf because I didn't want it to be too flowery and at the same time not too sober. The pattern is available here, here and here.

The other pattern is for a monkey hat which will be available shortly.

Crochet headband - new pattern, and few other things

This textured headband with a rose is the latest pattern in my shop. I love this stitch. It gives a wonderful texture and I have used  it in a hat pattern too.

You can buy these patterns from here, here and here. Now I am working on a beanie for my son using the same stitch.

My last post was over a month ago. I am seriously lacking motivation generally. Tips on how to keep yourself motivated to blog would be greatly appreciated, but today there is a very good reason why I am excited.

As you might know my tutorial post on the granny ripple pattern is my most popular one so far. Now allfreecrochetafganpatterns.com has released an ebook on how to crochet ripple afgans for free download containing 7 free ripple afgan patterns and mine in one of them. You can download the ebook from the link given below
http://www.allfreecrochetafghanpatterns.com/Ripple/How-To-Crochet-a-Ripple-Crochet-Afghan-7-Free-Crochet-Patterns-eBook
There are plenty of free crochet afgan patterns in their wonderful site and you can check them out.

There is also a sad story. Fluffy, one of our bunnies, was killed by a stray cat who managed to sneak into our house when we were out. Poor Fluffy, she was the friendliest one and such a darling.

Two cute little bunnies have taken the place of Fluffy now.

Ninja and Poppy, but I really cannot differentiate between Ninja and Poppy. They both look so alike.

You will see more cute bunny pics in future.

Monsters and bunnies

Welcome to all my new friends and thanks a lot for all your comments in my previous posts. I visited all of your blogs but wasn't able to leave comments in some, the comments just didn't appear even after trying a few times. Sorry about that.

First let me show you the monsters. These are the new patterns in my shops. I made the blue monster first.

Image

Then I felt it would be more interesting if the eyes pop out. So I made the green monster/alien.

Image

Then I wanted a girly monster, so made this pink one.

Right now you can find these patterns in my Etsy shop. I will make them available soon in my Craftsy shop too.

We have 2 new members in our family...
