The Nightmare Door for this chapter is found when you enter the waterworks room in "Death Comes to Death". As you pass through the metal doorway, the purple root will show up: follow it forward and then left to enter the cabin and take on the Trial.

The Trial is another one of traversal, this one focused on sliding slopes. It’s fairly straightforward, but there are ways to shave off some time.
- Right at the beginning, after passing through the opening gate, jump onto the swing bar branch to start jumping across the upper level. Because of the speed boost you get when jumping like this, you’ll save half a second by taking this route!
- When you slide down the section with the stone columns breaking up your path, don’t worry about the wooden spikes: they’ll break away when you touch them and will not slow you down!
- On the slide with the stone columns breaking up your path, veer left and jump onto the left-hand route that appears at the last second.
- At the end of the left-hand route, use the swing bar, then do NOT jump off the end of the second slide. If you simply coast off the end, you’ll save a tenth of a second!
- When climbing up the rock wall, remember to mash the Jump button to make it up the wall as quickly as possible.
