Hover Stones are large, almost translucent stone pads that, when powered, will float in the last position and angle they were placed at until otherwise acted upon. These are useful for climbing long diagonal distances, making floating staircases, or even as a base for a flying machine.
A Zonai device that can defy gravity and hang in place. Ages ago, the Zonai may have used this technology to create islands that float in the sky.
Hover Stones can also be paired with Ascend in order to scale vertical walls more quickly, or to gain some easy high ground in a fight.
Hover Stone Locations
Hover Stones can be found in Zonai Device Dispensers across Hyrule. Some of these locations include:
- Near Igoshon Shrine and the entrance to the Water Temple
- Next to Ga-ahisas Shrine on Lightcast Island in the North Tabantha Sky Archipelago
- Next to Gikaku Shrine in the Akkala Sky
