In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you must learn how to wield different types of weapons to find the one that best fits your playstyle. On This IGN wiki guide, we review one of the four weapons types: Spears.
What are Spears and Polearms
All spears and porlearms are easily identifiable with a purple spear-like symbol that's visible from your weapon's inventory. You'll be able to deal damage from a short range when using spears, meaning you won't need to get close and personal with every enemy you meet. This distance can be helpful when dealing with gloom-infected enemies or enemies that can fly.
If you hold the Y button while holding a spear, you'll be able to use stamina to charge the weapon and perform a super attack that allows Link to perform quick stabs in rapid succession.
