Everything works as expected. I added an e2e test covering the empty state case with a helper plugin (connectors-empty-state.php) that removes the default connector data filter — this also makes manual testing simpler since you don't need to do anything in the code.

By the way, based on issue created by @jeffpaul and solution proposed by @im3dabasia in #76382, we should revisit the links and phrasing here as well. |
