How to get Manaphy in Pokémon Pokopia

While Manaphy may take the time to teach you Dive in Bleak Beach, it doesn't stay in this Pokémon Pokopia area for long. Instead, it departs to find itself a new home. A departure so quick in fact that it may leave you a little stumped about where to find it! (Especially if you want to add Manaphy to your Pokédex.) Don't worry though, I'll walk you through how to get Manaphy in Pokopia down below.

How to get Manaphy in Pokopia

If you want to add Manaphy to your Pokédex in Pokopia, then you need to purchase the Expansion Pass DLC. That's right! While Manaphy may make an appearance during the free August 2026 update, you'll need to give The Pokémon Company some cold hard cash if you want to actually add this mythical Pokémon to your Pokédex.

With the Expansion Pass DLC bought and paid off, you need to head to Bubbly Basin and complete the 'Build the beautiful building' Important Request. Just like with all of the previous areas, you'll find Manaphy right at the end of this questline. (Having apparently already moved into the building you've just spent ages building. Little rude if you ask me…)

Once you've watched this cutscene, Manaphy will be added to your Pokédex and you'll now be able to move into any habitat anywhere. Though, if you want to complete the Manaphy evolution line, you'll also want to know where to find Phione.
