Here are your Connections hints for today:

• 🟩 Green hint: Mmm, tasty!
• 🟦 Blue hint: Long, slippery, and biologically complicated.
• 🟪 Purple hint: It's what's on the inside that counts.
• Extra hint 1: One group hides its words inside others.

Connections answer today

Here is the answer to today's Connections puzzle on Friday, 4th September:

• 🟨 Yellow: Spherical Things (Bowling Ball, Eye, Moon, Orange)
• 🟩 Green: Food Whose Name Is Two Foods (Cake Donut, Candy Corn, Cherry Tomato, Pizza Pie)
• 🟦 Blue: Kinds of Eels (Conger, Gulper, Moray, Ribbon)
• 🟪 Purple: Accessories Inside Starting and Ending Letters (Cringy, Opine, Stied, That's)

The green group gave itself away in this puzzle. Although there were some words in other categories that could also be considered food items, the double-words basically sorted themselves out! But while we might have been given a break with the green group, the purple group was so hard it more than made up for that. Connections is tricky enough when the words are actually provided!
