Here is the answer to today's Connections puzzle on Monday, 14th September:

• 🟨 Yellow: Waterbirds (Coot, Goose, Loon, Teal)
• 🟩 Green: Informant (Canary, Rat, Snitch, Stoolie)
• 🟦 Blue: Common Single-Use Plastic Items (Bag, Cutlery, Stirrer, Straw)
• 🟪 Purple: ___Grass (Blue, Crab, Lemon, Wheat)

Well if this isn't one of the most diabolical Connections puzzles, I don't know what is. Having so many critter-related words spread out across each group was enough to have me pulling my hair out! Blue was the only one without an animal in it, which was one of the only things keeping me going. You guys were the other thing.
