I never developed a taste for Soulslike games and it's my old boss's fault

It's time to name names

After writing about Mortal Shell 2's approach to difficulty earlier, it got me thinking about why I bounced off Soulslike games. They're one of the biggest genres in gaming, adored and lionised by so many. I've tried many over the years, but never completed any of them.

But, it didn't have to be this way. And I'm going to lay the blame on the doorstep of my old boss, Keza MacDonald.
