Silent Hill Townfall blood type transfusion puzzle solution

After spending what feels like a lifetime in the hospital basement in Part 3 of Silent Hill Townfall, your escape is in sight once you reach the blood transfusion puzzle, which tasks you with combining the blood of patients to create Simon's blood type. Really grim stuff.

It's worth noting that this page refers to the blood transfusion puzzle in which you must mix the blood of various patients to get Simon's blood type. Silent Hill Townfall blood type transfusion puzzle solution

After collecting various blood bags and placing them beside the medical records of the patients that the blood came from in Townfall, a door will open revealing the blood transfusion vault with Simon Ordell's name in the centre.

His name is surrounded by various initials, and you can interact with each ring of the vault to create paths between the initials and Ordell's name. On top of that, the walls of this tiny room are covered in plaques that tell you different blood type combinations.

The goal of this puzzle is to create Simon's blood type using a combination of other blood types, which are directly tied to the patient's blood bags in the main hall. Fortunately, Simon Ordell's blood type can be seen on his medical wristband in his inventory: he has a blood type of A+.

If you then look at the plaques on the wall, you'll find that to get a blood type of A+, you must combine the following blood types with Simon's blood:

• O-
• O+
• A-

A+ is also shown on the plaque, but Simon will provide that, so you only need to worry yourself with hooking up patients who have the above blood types to Simon's name in the middle of the vault.

You can check each patient's initials and their blood type by going back and referring to the blood bags or medical records in the main hall. I've noted their blood types here too to help:

• HM = O-
• SW = A+
• RD = AB-
• MC = B+
• GM = AB+
• TF = O+
• SH = B-
• DH = AB+

With the above in mind, we need to hook the following peoples blood up to Ordell via the vault puzzle:

• HM
• TF
• SW

To hook these initials up to Ordell in the middle of the vault, you must rotate each part of the dial so that the blood of the aforementioned initials can reach the center (and nobody else's blood!). See the below image to see how I arranged the vault, and make sure to press Ordell's name in the middle once you're done.

Once that's done, you'll be able to continue into another spooky hallway where things are about to get even more strange… Have fun!
