Reclaim is the primary focus of Destiny 2's Ash and Iron update. This new three-player activity sends Guardians back to the Plaguelands, last seen in the Rise of Iron expansion nearly a decade ago. There are secret chests, optional objectives, and new rewards to earn on this trip down memory lane as well. Here's everything you need to know about Destiny 2's Reclaim activity, including all the possible weapon and armor drops you can collect.
How to Start Reclaim
Reclaim is featured in the Fireteam Ops section of the Portal menu in Destiny 2. You can select any Reclaim mission you like, but only one of them has matchmaking enabled. The featured Reclaim playlist will change every day, so you're not completely out of luck if you don't have a dedicated fireteam.
How to Complete Reclaim
Reclaim is a four-stage activity that sends you and your Fireteam to various locations throughout the Plaguelands and Cosmodrome. Your primary goal is to reclaim Golden Age tech before Maya Sundaresh can get her hands on it. To accomplish this, you have to fill up a 1,000-point meter in all four areas before taking down a big boss at the end.
Each Reclaim zone has a central Vex construct with glowing lines leading to Golden Age tech. Follow these lines and you'll find shielded warsat fragments. Defeat the Vex, Fallen, Cabal, or whoever stands in your way until the shield drops. Then, interact with the warsat fragment to earn a whopping 500 points toward your goal.
There are also smaller warsat fragments scattered across these zones that give a few points each, and there are chests that'll add a few dozen points to your total as well. Look for these in side rooms and small alcoves as you move between objectives. The big warsat pieces are still your primary goal, but some extra help will keep your playtime low and increase your chances of getting bonus rewards at the end of the activity.
You can also chat with friendly Psions after clearing a zone for some extra lore tidbits. They'll be marked as you head to your ship!
Once you've amassed 1,000 points in an area, you can board your ship to reach the next zone. Rinse and repeat this process four times and you'll end up at a final boss encounter. Reclaim bosses use the same Vex node mechanics that you saw in Ash and Iron: Initialize, so blow up the Vex cubes if they shield themselves. Remember that some Vex nodes can only be destroyed from within melee range!
Once you destroy the nodes, you can shoot the red Vex data pillars that they were protecting. Destroying those will make the boss vulnerable again.
Reclaim Loot Table and Drops
Reclaim is the primary source of all Ash and Iron gear, so the new armor sets and weapons will drop from enemies and the final chest. Here's what you can get by playing Reclaim in Destiny 2.

Many of these items can also drop in normal Fireteam Ops, Solo Ops, and Pinnacle Ops as well. Your best chance of getting Ash and Iron gear will always be from Reclaim activities, however.
