Hollow Knight Silksong: Where is the Hunter's March Bench?
How to find and disable the trapped Hunter's March Bench
Looking for the Bench in Hunter's March? Undoubtedly one of the hardest early areas in Hollow Knight: Silksong, Hunter's March is full of ants who want to turn you into a pincushion, spikes galore, and lots of red flowers that must be Pogo'ed upon with expert precision. This region also only has a single Bench - which is trapped and can knock off two Masks of health the second you sit on it.
In this guide, we'll answer the question of where is the Hunter's March bench - and we'll also tell you how to disable the trap to save yourself a whole world of frustration.
Hollow Knight Silksong: Where is the Hunter's March Bench
The map above shows the location of the Hunter's March bench. Yes, there's only one in the region, and it's located a very long away from the entrance to The Marrow, which new Silksong players will be coming from.
To prepare yourself for tackling this difficult area, it's best to be confident in your Pogo skills. If Hornet's normal 45-degree angle Pogo isn't to your liking, seek out the Crest of Wanderer, which will give Hornet a more traditional downwards Pogo slash when equipped. You'll also need the Drifter's Cloak.
Once you're ready, proceed east from the Hunter's March entrance that leads to The Marrow. Pogo (or drift) over the first red flower you see and keep going right until you come across an array of three flowers leading upwards. Pogo to the top; you'll come across another grouping of flowers. Pogo upwards, hop on the ledge to your right, then Pogo up another series of flowers facing a group of red spikes. Proceed to the exit.
In the next room, take the downwards path towards the ant enemy. Jump over it (or kill it) and Pogo east over the flowers and platforms, veering towards the lower route until you see another ant wearing a skull. Go past this foe and take the exit on the right.
You're halfway there now. More Pogo-ing awaits in the next room, which leads to a gauntlet of enemies. You need to survive against several waves of ants, and there's a chance that Shakra the map seller can pop up here to aid you - in which case you're in luck, as you can focus on dodging and let her soak up most of the attacks.
In the room after the gauntlet, continue your Pogo jumps to the east and take the lower path that's beneath some ants sitting by a fire. There's another ant enemy to greet you here; avoid them and continue eastwards. On the next stretch of ground, keep moving forwards and beware of traps that will fall from the ceiling. If you dash fast enough you should make it through with no issues; after this ordeal, it's just a matter of Pogo-ing up two more flowers to the exit. In the next room, ride the airstream via the Drifter's Cloak and take the exit on your left, which leads to the Bench. But beware...
In the following room, whatever you do, DO NOT REST ON THE BENCH! Remember those ceiling traps? The Bench is also trapped, and in order to disable it, you must first head leftwards and hit the switch on the ceiling. Then you can finally rest in peace, rather than in pieces.
