You can easily earn thousands of rosaries in less than an hour of farming, and you aren't limited to a single location. Granted, there is one place in Hollow Knight: Silksong that beats out all the others as far as ease and efficiency goes.

In the guide below, we'll show you the best three locations you can farm rosaries in Silksong with relative ease and consistency. You'll want to do these prior to Act 3 of the game when you lose access to a large amount of content. You should only need to complete these farms four or five times for the few thousand rosaries you need to purchase most upgrades in the game.

Where to farm rosaries in Hollow Knight Silksong

There are three main rosary farms you'll want to use in Silksong. One is good for the early game in Act 1 when most of the items you're buying aren't so expensive. You can then alternate between the second two when you reach Act 2 and the Citadel.

Best early rosary farm (Act 1)

The best early rosary farm in Silksong is the area surrounding and above the Halfway Home safe area in Greymoor. While you could simply farm the few enemies near the Bellway and around the safe house itself, the real money is in fully clearing the area's upper reaches.

You'll need to head out west from the Halfway Home and use the various balloons, spike rings, enemies, and air current to navigate your way up, but you'll eventually unlock an elevator accessible west of the Home that can take you past many of the initial platforming hazards.

If you spent the six-to-eight minutes required to go through each area and defeat every enemy and collect as many rosaries as possible, you'll come out with 70-90 rosaries per run, on average. Complete the loop for an hour, and you can easily rack up at least 400 rosaries in that time.

Best rosary farms in Silksong (Act 2)

The rosary farms you can access after you start Act 2 are faster, more consistent, and more rewarding all at once. The first you'll find is just west of the Bellway in the Choral Chambers. Your task is to head west and clear out all the enemies until you reach the top of the tall chamber, then drop down, rest at the nearby bench, and repeat the process until you have all the rosaries you need.

The Choral Chambers farm takes less than five minutes on a bad day and nets around 150-175 rosaries depending on how many fall into the spikes. Conservatively, then, you can expect to earn at least 1,800 rosaries an hour using this method.

If you want something a little more challenging, the second rosary farm is also in the Choral Chambers. This time near their top, west of Songclave, which you can reach by continuing upward from the Grand Bellway rather than dropping down.

Songclave itself is in the northeasternmost (top right) portion of the Choral Chambers. You'll find many a quest and Wish available there, as well as a merchant of many valuable goods. If you jump up into the rafters just before leaving Songclave, you can access one of the Ventrica fast-travel devices, and continuing left from there brings you to a long hall.

The hall is home to the Grand Reed enemies, large creatures with bows strung with Silk. Defeating one yields 32 rosaries, and there are three of them before you reach an important story boss.

It takes about 90 seconds to two minutes to clear all three, then return to the bench at Songclave. Another conservative estimate puts your total rosary earnings to at least 3,600, depending on how efficient you become.

The only problem with the second farm is that the Grand Reed enemies' attacks all deal two damage, as does coming into contact with their bodies. If you haven't upgraded your health much, a few wrong moves will send you back to the bench empty-handed.
