Where to find Hokers in Hollow Knight Silksong
Here's how to get Spine Cores and complete the Flexile Spines quest
Trying to find Hokers to complete the Flexile Spines quest in Hollow Knight: Silksong? When you enter the Far Fields region of Hollow Knight: Silksong, you'll run into the Seamstress, a friendly bug who's willing to lend her weaves to Hornet's cause. She'll give you the Flexile Spines quest and ask for 25 Spine Cores from creatures called Hokers, who supposedly lurk in the wilds not far from her home.
The only problem is that the Seamstress doesn't tell you what Hokers look like - nor does she explain what you need to do to acquire these Spine Cores. In this guide, we'll explain where to find Hokers and get Spine Cores in Hollow Knight: Silksong, ensuring that you can finish this cryptic quest as quickly as possible.
Where to find Hokers in Hollow Knight: Silksong
Hokers are those green spiked floating bugs that you can find in the areas right of the Seamstress' house. They shoot spikes outwards in different directions when you get nearby, or when you slash at them with your Nail.
Defeating Hokers won't be enough to get the Spine Cores you need, however. You actually need to hit the spikes that the Hokers shoot. These sharp bits are embedded in the scenery, and you can go up to them and slash away. Every time you hit a spike, an item will pop out, as evidenced by the white glow - this is the Spine Core.
We recommend running back and forth through the surrounding area to farm Hokers and get them to shoot out their spikes. Before too long, you'll have 25 Spine Cores at your disposal and you can go back to the Seamstress. For all your hard work, the Seamstress will reward you with the Drifter's Cloak, which lets Hornet puff out her cape like Mary Poppins and take to the skies. Nice!
