Craw

By this swooping menace, a simple bug could be easily overcome. More dangerous still, they rarely attack alone.
Craws are enemies in Hollow Knight: Silksong. They are scavenging members of the Craws, roosting high in caverns and preying on passing pilgrims.[1]
Behaviour and Tactics
Craws are often found sitting on various things, including things in the background or foreground. When they spot Hornet, they take flight and pursue her.
They fly in short arcing flaps, and try to maintain distance between themselves and Hornet, performing a horizontal swooping attack at her once they have aligned themselves with her.
Craws deal 
with their swoop and upon contact.
Act 3
Black-threaded Craws have their health doubled. They can gain any of the standard void attacks.

Location
Craws can be found exclusively in Greymoor, and are much more common the further east Hornet is. They are especially plentiful near Craw Lake.
In Act 3, Craws are replaced by Craw Jurors until Crawfather has been defeated. After his defeat, regular Craws appear again in their former locations.
