Driznit
It is easy to be caught off-guard by the ricocheting trajectory of its flung mask, especially in tight corners.
Driznits are enemies in Hollow Knight: Silksong. They are small winged creatures with a sharp coral mask that doubles as a weapon.
Behaviour and Tactics
Driznits start off concealed in patches of coral on ceilings and burst down once Hornet comes near. Between attacks, Driznits constantly attempt to maintain distance between themselves and Hornet, prioritizing vertical distance over horizontal distance.
The Driznit's only attack is to spin its coral mask like a drill and fire it at Hornet at a diagonal angle. The coral spike ricochets off of surfaces up to 6 times before breaking.
Hornet's attacks can change the spike's direction and cause it to hit itself or other enemies for 15 damage. The spike can only damage enemies if Hornet has hit it.
It should be noted that unlike most other small creatures, Driznits do not respawn upon re-entering the room.
