All Pollip Hearts locations in Hollow Knight Silksong

Searching for Pollip Hearts in Hollow Knight: Silksong? Once you reach Shellwood and encounter the NPC Greyroot, you'll be tasked with the Rite of the Pollip quest. This requires you to pick up 6 Pollip Hearts and deliver them to Greyroot. In return for your labour, you'll be rewarded with the Pollip Pouch - an excellent Tool that applies venom to other Tools and is particularly good for making your projectiles deadlier.

All Pollip Hearts in Hollow Knight: Silksong

Here are the locations of all six Pollip Hearts in the Shellwood region of Silksong's map:

The 6 Pollip Hearts can be found after attacking the large purple flowers scattered throughout Shellwood. You can usually tell where the flowers are located in these large rooms if you keep an eye out for purple petals drifting across the screen.

Pollip Heart 1

The first Pollip Heart can be found on a high-up platform in the central room of Shellwood; go past the Gnat floating in the middle of the room and climb the platforms to the right of the Gnat that are bordered by thorns. You'll go past a Wood Wasp; keep going up to reach the purple flower and another Wood Wasp.

Pollip Heart 2

The next Pollip Heart is stuck in the ceiling of a room above the last one. Get ready to Pogo bounce all the way up on those white flowers. They disappear when you hit them, making this a nice little platforming challenge. Once you reach the top, as before, hit the purple flower to get the heart.

Pollip Heart 3

To get the third Pollip Heart, defeat Sister Splinter and then proceed through the boss arena to the left. In the following room, go down and to the left, kill the Gahlia (the flower core with the stretchy neck), and drop into the second branching path to the left under it. The purple Pollip lies there.

Pollip Heart 4

This heart becomes accessible after you get the Cling Grip wall jump skill. Go to the right of the monument where you unlock the skill; jump over the rectangular rock in the room's centre, and then wall jump your way to the top of the room. Break the wall in the upper left corner to find a secret room. Wood Wasps will be emerging from a nest; break the nest and then pass through the revealed passageway to find a route that leads to the fourth Pollip Heart.

Pollip Heart 5

Go back to the Cling Grip monument room, drop to the very bottom, then exit to the right. Drop down to the Bench and then take the next right exit. Glide using the Drifter's Cloak until you spot the telltale drifting purple petals of the Pollip Heart. You'll then need to Cling Grip to the wall and head upwards to find the flower. There will be two Wood Wasps that need defeating before you can harvest the Pollip Heart.

Pollip Heart 6

This Pollip Heart can only be obtained if you re-enter Shellwood via the northern bellvein tunnels of Bellhart, so take a look at the Bellhart section of our walkthrough if you haven't reached this area yet. Once in the northern bellvein, when you reach a drop with two bells waiting to fall on you from above, attack the bells to destroy them, then go down and break a wall on the left to reach a hidden route to Shellwood. The purple flowers you need to harvest are hidden behind a series of vines on the ground in the far left.
