How to Solve the Art Gallery Painting Puzzle

One of the first Control Resonant’s Secrets that you will find is located in the Evacuation Zone, more specifically, inside the Konstig art gallery that’s found near the center of the zone. Inside this art gallery, you’ll need to solve a puzzle that involves illuminating particular paintings to unlock a secret passage.

This guide details everything you need to know about solving the secret art gallery puzzle in Control Resonant, including the rewards you will unlock.

How to Solve the Art Gallery Painting Puzzle

Around the center of the Evacuation Zone, past the Fast Travel Door, you’ll find a museum/art exhibition called Echo, by Charlie-Meecham.

When you enter the place, you can pick up a Document at the front desk, which mentions the paintings sold: “Journey, Windows, Thunder, and Tides”.

This is the riddle for the museum’s puzzle, and you need to interact with the paintings on the walls to solve it. You will find light switches close to every group of paintings, and you need to illuminate the pictures that best represent the words you found on the document.

Let’s start with the first wall on the left. The picture you need to illuminate is the one in the middle, which shows a path with a tree at the end.

Secondly, move to the wall at the front. You need the first picture from left to right, which shows a bunch of twisted branches.

Then move to the right side (next to the pictures at the front). Illuminate the first picture on the left: a plainside with a big tree in the middle.

For the last picture, you need to interact with the second group on the wall on the right side. Highlight the picture in the middle: a fallen tree on the water.

If you have successfully illuminated these four pictures, you’ll unlock the entrance to a secret passage – it’s located on the left of the front wall. Explore these rooms, and you will find two Documents, plus an ice cream crate with a Health Upgrade Point.
