If you ever wanted a party to last forever, the Side Story “The Party Won’t Stop” in Control Resonant might convince you otherwise. To complete it, you’ll need to play a music lyric mini-game where the stakes include the lives of the unfortunate partygoers. Here’s how to complete it.

How to Complete The Party Won’t Stop
The apartment complex where the eternal party’s going on is on the southwestern edge of the West Incursion Zone. You’ll need to have completed the Incursion Fault and gained the Shift ability to reach it, however.
You need to use the rooftop entrance to get inside. If you’re on the north-south street that leads to the purple-tinted apartment window, look for the large mass of blue mold at the intersection.
Head east from there, then turn back west when you reach the construction area. You can clear or ignore the enemies, as they won’t follow you across the gap over to the rooftop of the apartment building.
Jump across to the rooftop and use the blue door to enter the building. Go down to the lowest level and you’ll find the purple-lit apartment on your left.
Inside, a group of partygoers have been stuck dancing for what to them is an eternity. The culprit? An Altered karaoke machine. To free them and contain the Altered item, you need to engage with the machine in a musical battle. The proposition is simple: the machine will sing a lyric, and you need to finish that lyric with the correct rhyme.
- There’s a catch, of course. You only have a few seconds to choose the correct follow up lyric, and if you don’t choose, or choose wrong, one of the partygoers dies. Here are all the lyrics you need to sing, in order:
- …gasoline
- …stress
- …so fleeting
- …too long
- …move
- …fear
- …everything
- …higher and higher
- Shout
You don’t lose out on any rewards for allowing partygoers to die, but if you manage to save them all, you get the Be What You Want to Be achievement and a bit of extra lore.
The rewards are a Varsity Jacket cosmetic and the Untapped Bar Blade Artifact.
