Laundry Puzzle Solution Guide

The world of Control Resonant is strange, and Dylan Faden has to go through some supernatural stuff. But things sometimes get a little too weird, like when you need to solve a washing machine puzzle. Yeah, that's right: as part of the optional Secret Hideouts storyline, you'll have to visit a laundry and find out the solution to a unique riddle in the game.

In this IGN guide, we will go over where you can find this puzzle, how to solve it, and what rewards it will give you. Let's help Dylan deal with this cleaning riddle.

How to Solve the Washing Machine Puzzle

For the washing machine puzzle, you need to find a laundry on the eastern side of Central. Open your map and mark the horizontal street right above the legend "East Park Station".

Here, you'll have a riddle involving the washing machines around you. First, you need to check the While You Wait piece of paper on the board.

This has a series of number combinations:

• 0001000
• 001100
• 100001
• 000000
• 000000
• 000000
• 100000

What you need to do to solve the puzzle is to represent these numbers with the lines of washing machines. "0" represents turned off, while "1" represents turned on. There are machines with an "out of order" sign, which means that they will always be 0, but you can turn on the rest (you'll see green numbers on the screen when they are turned on).

For example, start with the line of washing machines on the left side of the place. Here you can only turn on the machine in the middle, and you should, because you'll create the first number combination: 0001000.

In front of this line, you'll see four out-of-order washing machines, and two next to each other that work. Turn them on for 001100.

In the middle, on the left side, there's a line of six machines where only the two at the extremes can be turned on. Let's give them power and create 100001.

Leave the opposing line of washing machines turned off, since we need a 000000. The last line that you need is on the right side of the store, close to the entrance. Turn on the first washing machine on the left.

And there we have our last combination. Now the Secret Hideout will be unlocked, so you can explore it. You'll find a Health Upgrade Point and the Documents Visitation and Stay Protocol and Do Not Leave The Shelter.
